Following his meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the US, Germany, and Norway are working to supply Ukraine with the necessary weapons, including Patriot systems.
“I spoke with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. It was a very good meeting. Mark briefed President Trump on his meeting today in Washington and details of cooperation between Europe and the US to continue and strengthen support for Ukraine,” he wrote in a telegram.
The President emphasized his appreciation for Ukraine’s desire to provide additional Patriot systems to its Armed Forces. “The US, Germany, and Norway are already working together on this. Other weapons will also be supplied to protect the lives of our people and repel Russian aggression,” he added.
Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of increasing pressure on Russia for the sake of peace and the preservation of people’s lives.
