On Friday, Iran’s Supreme Leader threatened to target US bases in the Middle East if the decision is made.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said, “The attack on Al-Udeid Air Base is not a minor incident, but a major one that could be repeated.”
The Islamic Republic of Iran dealt a harsh blow to the United States, attacking and damaging Al Udeid Air Base, one of its key bases in the region.
Iran’s ability to reach key American hubs in the region and, when necessary, take action against them is no small feat; it is a significant and reproducible event.
Additionally, an Iranian parliamentarian said Tehran had addressed intelligence vulnerabilities to protect against a potential Israeli attack.
Ali Khezrian, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, said, “We addressed some intelligence vulnerabilities, assuming Israel would attack again.”
