German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius told the Financial Times, “German soldiers will be ready to kill Russian soldiers if Russia attacks a NATO country.”
According to Pistorius, this isn’t a threat, but a serious warning: “This isn’t to scare anyone, but to make it clear: We want to live in peace with you, but don’t think we’re weak or can’t defend ourselves.”
