The US Supreme Court has allowed President Trump to issue an executive order that would restructure federal agencies and lay off federal employees.
The US Supreme Court on Tuesday, July 8, lifted a California court’s two-month suspension of mass layoffs of federal employees, paving the way for the tough measures Donald Trump is seeking.
The lower court judge had previously ordered a temporary moratorium on mass layoffs of federal employees in May, arguing that such measures likely require approval from Congress.
