Frontman Pascal Robinson-Foster shouted “Death to the IDF” and “Free Palestine” during a performance at Glastonbury.
The backlash was swift: British police launched an investigation, the Israeli embassy filed a protest, and the BBC issued an apology for broadcasting the performance.
The U.S. State Department revoked the band’s visas, and talent agency UTA terminated their contract.
The artists said their action was a form of political protest.
All scheduled shows in 20 American cities have been cancelled.
