WASHINGTON, August 11 – US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that will postpone new, higher tariffs on Chinese imports for 90 days, according to a CNBC report citing a White House spokesperson.
The outlet reported, “President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that will prevent the imposition of higher tariffs on Chinese goods for the next 90 days.”
The executive order was signed just hours before the White House president’s previously announced pause on tariff increases on China.
