The UN Migration Agency reported that at least 68 African migrants were killed and 74 others were missing when their boat capsized off the coast of Yemen on Sunday.
Abdusattor Esoev, head of the Yemen International Organization for Migration, told the Associated Press that a boat carrying 154 Ethiopian migrants capsized off the coast of Abyan province.
Esoev stated that 12 migrants survived the shipwreck, adding that the bodies of 54 migrants washed ashore in the Hanfar district, while 14 others were found dead elsewhere and taken to a hospital morgue.
